How to embed a Google Document into a blog or wiki

The simplest way to embed a Google document or worksheet into your blog or wiki is to use the iframe command like this:

<iframe src=»http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AeyVWlub_WB1ZGRzbW5tOG5fMTE1Z2JoOWg0Z2c&hl=el» width=”700″ frameborder=”0″ height=”630″></iframe>

The result should look like this:

You’ll need to

1) copy the document’s http address

2) make sure people can actually see the embedded document (without having a GDocs account) by choosing the proper sharing settings.

3) Insert the complete iframe code in the html mode of your blog editor.

P.S.
Google Documents also have a built-in feature for automatic publishing a document into a blog on blogger or wordpress.com. To activate it go to Share -> Publish as webpage.
